IKO Carrara 7,5 m

Waterproofing membrane composed of еlastomer (SBS) bitumen with fire-retardant properties and a polyester-glass combination inlay. The upper surface is finished with white titanium oxide granulate (SRI 79) and the lower surface is protected by a thermofusible film. This top layer can be applied in a single- or multi-layer system.
Installation: fully torched-on.

  • IKO Carrara is a specially designed membrane for roofs with photovoltaic installations
  • It is covered with white granulated titanium dioxide
  • The membrane has a special fire-retardant bituminous mixture and has the highest class of fire resistance: Broof (t1, t2, t3 and t4)
  • The membrane has a solar reflection index: SRI 82 to increase the efficiency of the photovoltaic plant
  • IKO Carrara also offers a cooling effect, which leads to a significant reduction in ambient temperature (about 40-48 degrees Celsius, Benelux), which further greatly improves the operation and yield of the photovoltaic plant
  • Additionally the efficiency of the photovoltaic plant increases by about 5% thanks to the reflection of sunlight from the light-reflecting surface of the membrane
