Arexim Engineering Makes Large-Scale Renovation and Reconstruction of Their Roofs by the Latest Technologies with IKO Materials
The high-tech materials of IKO received yet another recognition. One of the largest producers of plastic components and industrial equipment Arexim Engineering entrusted its project on reconstruction of the roofs of their manufacturing and administrative buildings in the town Smolyan to Armormat.
The project will claim to be the most modern and high-tech roof system in Bulgaria. A roof-waterproofing system by polymeric membranes of the Thermoplastic Elastomer type was selected for its implementation. The name of the system is Spectraplan TPE, which has properties and qualities with no analog in Bulgaria and the world. Spectraplan TPE is a patented technology of IKO Polymeric in the UK.
The deliveries of the membranes for more than 10,000 m2 already started. Custom project wind uplift calculations were also provided by the IKO engineering team in England and the IKO roofing system will be followed by a large-scale photovoltaic park on top of it. The guarantee of the products is 20 years.
